Hunter On The Move

This is my photo essay about moving about Hunter College.  Most of the pictures were taken at a low angle except the last.

Artist Statement

I am an artist without a muse.  Actually, I wasn’t trying to be an artist at all.  I was just trying to solve problems that had arisen.  The children’s choir needed a director.  I knew all the kids and had sung in choirs for years, so I decided to help out.  The children ministry needed to be revamped.  People needed to know who made up the team, what services were being offered and the ministry needed more hands to help in their efforts.  I started thinking of ideas, which led to creating posters, brochures, and videos.  From there I wrote a play, choreographed a dance routine, started a caroling group, and built a website.
My approach to art is that of a problem solver.  I like to play around with different mediums, learn new things.  Therefore, I am on a quest: to gain more skills and conquer bigger issues.  My interest lies in documentary filmmaking, through which I hope to inspire people to be problems solvers of their own.
